Rhonda was signed by BeachHouse Media Records in 2013, as a lyricist to team up with and write lyrics for Christmas holiday music composed by Bruce Halverson (her brother) for release on the BeachHouse Media Records label for the 2013 and 2014 holiday seasons.
The first 2 songs have now been released. They are – ‘Surfing With Santa’ a new Hawaiian Children’s Folk Christmas song, and ‘My Ukulele Shore’ another Hawaiian holiday song with a hard-driving Cha Cha beat.
In writing the lyrics for these 2 songs, Rhonda drew from her years living in Hawaii as a Naval Petty Officer at NAVAL CINCPAC Headquarters in Honolulu, HI.

“I’ve always wanted to write about my time in and love for the Hawaiian Islands, so when given the chance to write lyrics for Bruce on a planned holiday album, these 2 songs are where I naturally wanted to start”.
